1G2P (one guy, two pedals) is the initiative of Jean-Yves Lebreux, clerk of the Municipality of Îles-de-la-Madeleine. During a conference, he was challenged to do an activity that would take him out of his comfort zone. It was at this very moment that he had the idea to cross Quebec by bike alone, from Abitibi to Îles-de-la-Madeleine to raise funds for diseased children.
This itinerary of approximately 2500 km will be covered in the spring of 2021 by the future retired municipal worker. Eager to raise funds through the sale of bicycle kilometers, the money will be donated to Opération Enfant Soleil.
